Run for the Oche!
This week has been an ABSOLUTE blast!
We were running double (tops) speed at our fast pyramid session. Although a lot of controversy about which type of pyramid it should have been… a Maya (flat top) or Egyptian (pointy top). We went for Maya and the crowd were not happy, that means two reps at the top!
Our first social of the year was so much fun! Pizza, pints and two lanes of the most average darts. Marc took home the trophy for the first social after a 3 dart shootout where Sam well and truly crumbled, whilst Marc stayed calm and collected.
Next week, Coach Scott is taking a break so Coach Rich will be running the show!
The session is the next progression for our plan:
Warm Up
Light jog / mobility / drills
Main Session
5 x 5 mins on / 2 mins off
Aim: To be as consistent as possible! The 5 minutes pace should be anywhere between 10k and half marathon pace whilst trying to keep on the move for the 2 minutes recovery.
Cool Down
Light jog / debrief / stretches
Where/When: Wednesday 6pm @ St Helier Marina - Bag drop at Funktion from 5.30pm
Thursday’s Coffee Run will be lead and tailed by Rich, Daryl and Paulina! Meet at Funktion and as always, it will be an easy, chatty 30 minute run followed by coffee and debrief at The Loft @ Big Maggy’s!
Where/When: Thursday 7am @ Outside Funktion - Bag drop at Funktion from 6.45am
